George Mamic

George Mamic has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. George is currently working as the National Trade Director at Knauf Australia since May 2022. Prior to this, they were the General Manager and Sales Director at Etex from March 2021 to February 2022. From January 2015 to February 2021, they held the position of General Manager and Sales Director at Knauf. Before joining Knauf, George worked as a Production Manager at Boral from February 2014 to January 2015, where they were responsible for managing production and ensuring compliance. George also worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Boral Construction Materials from August 2010 to January 2014. Earlier in their career, they served as a Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology from January 2005 to June 2009.

George Mamic attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aerospace Avionics. George then continued their education at QUT from 1999 to 2002, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Vision.

In addition to their academic qualifications, George Mamic also obtained a certification in the General Manager Program from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in July 2019.
