Jetze Touber

Data Station Manager Humanities @ DANS (data Archiving And Networked Services) at KNAW

Jetze Touber is currently serving as the Data Station Manager for Humanities at KNAW - Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen since January 2023. Previously, Jetze held the position of Information Advisor at Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek SIA and NWO (Dutch Research Council) from June 2019 to January 2023, focusing on supporting funding schemes for practice-oriented research. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ghent University from September 2016 to June 2019, Jetze conducted research on perceptions of bodily interiors in early modern Europe. Additionally, Jetze was a Lecturer in Early Modern History at the University of Amsterdam and a Postdoc Researcher at Universiteit Utrecht, where research topics included religious politics and philological analysis related to secularization. Early academic experiences included a PhD in ecclesiastical history from the University of Groningen and various roles in teaching and project assistance at The Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome. Education includes records management training and a Teaching in Higher Education Certificate.
