Hugh Kavanagh

Hugh Kavanagh has over 35 years of work experience, beginning with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1985 as an Audit & Computer Audit. Hugh then moved to Oracle Corporation in 1990 as a Financial Controller OEML, where they set up Oracle's EMEA operation in Ireland. In 1994, they joined Transitions Optical as a Financial Controller (Europe), where they were responsible for Finance, Logistics and IS, as well as being the primary relationship manager with key customers. In 1995, they joined Covidien as a Financial Controller and HR Manager, and acted as finance lead on corporate teams developing and implementing multi-site rationalisation. In 2006, they joined Abbott Vascular as a Finance Director and then moved to Crospon in 2007 as a CFO. In 2011, they joined Boston Scientific as a Business Unit Controller and then moved to Mainstay Medical Limited in 2013 as a CFO. Finally, in 2019, they joined Kneat Solutions as a Chief Financial Officer.

Hugh Kavanagh's education history includes a B.Comm from University College Dublin, which was completed in 1983. From 1984 to 1985, they completed a Dip in Prof Accng at University College Dublin. Hugh then went on to complete an ACA at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 1985 to 1988.
