JuiYung (Oreon) Chiang

JuiYung (Oreon) Chiang has been working in the tech industry since 2015. JuiYung (Oreon) began their career at Eped Inc. as a Project Engineer, then an Engineer, and eventually became the RD team leader. In this role, they were responsible for developing algorithms for software in the clinical surgery field, including medical image processing, stereo vision and spatial positioning. In 2020, they joined Kneron as a System Engineer, where they are currently working on Deep Learning (DL) based computer vision algorithms and software applications. JuiYung (Oreon) is researching high accuracy/speed deep leaning techniques for AI chips.

JuiYung (Oreon) Chiang received a Doctor of Engineering- PhD from National Cheng Kung University between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from National Cheng Kung University between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained 3 certifications from Coursera in 2019, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
