Doris van der Laan

Doris van der Laan is an experienced exercise physiologist with a focus on elite sports, currently working at KNHB since 2012, specializing in Dutch women's and men's indoor hockey teams. Notable achievements include multiple gold medals at European and World Championships with various teams. Prior to this role, Doris has been involved with Sport Medisch Centrum Amsterdam as a physiotherapist and exercise physiologist since 2009, and provided physiotherapy services to Amsterdamse Hockey en Bandy Club Dames 1 from 2012 to 2015, contributing to their European championship and national championship victories. Doris also has experience as a physiotherapist with KNVB and as a junior data analyst at VU Medical Center. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and certification as a manual therapist from Maitland.
