Dan Abbott

Dan Abbott, CPF, has a solid work experience spanning several organizations. Dan started their career as the Director of Education & Training at Morse Bros., Inc. in 1990 and held this role until 2000. Following this, they joined Oregon Firearms Academy LLC as the Principal, where they played a key role in establishing the academy and obtaining an equity share. During their tenure, the academy served a diverse range of clients, including military personnel, law enforcement, and private citizens. Abbott's work at Oregon Firearms Academy LLC lasted from 2000 to 2016. Since 2001, they have been associated with Knife River Corporation, where they have held various roles, including Director of Leadership Development & Learning Services and Training Manager. Currently, Abbott serves as the Learning Services Director at Knife River Corporation.

Dan Abbott, CPF completed their education with an Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Nazarene Bible College in 1986. Dan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion & Philosophy from MidAmerica Nazarene University, earning the degree in 1987. Dan continued their education at the University of Northern Colorado, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication between 1987 and 1989.
