Rami Abousleiman

Rami Abousleiman, PhD, GIT, is a Geological Engineer at Knight Piesold since August 2020, bringing extensive experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering. Rami served as Treasurer for the Colorado School of Mines Graduate Student Government from June 2019 to June 2021, overseeing budget allocation and chairing various committees. During the academic journey at Colorado School of Mines from 2018 to 2021, Rami completed a PhD in Geological Engineering. Prior roles include independent consulting, as an Independent Consultant from August 2017 to June 2021, and as a Senior Staff Geologist at MFS Consulting Engineers from March 2015 to August 2017, where responsibilities encompassed office, fieldwork, and project management in environmental remediation and geotechnical investigations. Experience also comprises a Staff Geologist position at Excel Environmental Resources, Inc. from June 2012 to March 2015. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from Rutgers University and additional studies in Geologic Field Methods and at the American University of Beirut.
