Amal Khouri

Amal Khouri has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amal began their career as a Marketing Intern at Ethypharm in 2001. Amal then joined Paladin Labs Inc., where they held roles as a Manager and later an Associate Director of Business Development.

In 2007, Amal transitioned to Novartis, where they served in various positions over a span of six years. These positions included Director of Business Development & Licensing, Head of Partnering for General Medicines and Mature Products, Head of Business Expansion/Integration for MDx, and Global BD&L for Search and Evaluation in Integrated Hospital Care. Their final position at Novartis was Head of Search and Evaluation for Ophthalmology.

Since 2014, Amal has been associated with Knight Therapeutics Inc. Initially, they served as the VP of Business Development before being promoted to Chief Business Officer, their current role.

Amal's work experience demonstrates their expertise in business development, licensing, and search and evaluation in both the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Amal has a proven track record of providing strategic leadership and driving growth for the companies they have worked with.

Amal Khouri completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from McGill University, from 1993 to 1997. Amal then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Ottawa, from 1999 to 2001.
