Korey Smith

Korey Smith, LPC, CFI, is an experienced asset protection leader with a comprehensive background in loss prevention and safety compliance across multiple retail organizations. Currently serving as the Regional Asset Protection Leader for Ascena Retail Group, Inc. since November 2018, Korey is responsible for overseeing asset protection initiatives for several prominent brands, including Ann Taylor and Lane Bryant. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Loss Prevention at Things Remembered, where Korey directed loss prevention efforts at both the home office and field levels, and Director of Loss Prevention at Dress Barn, focusing on shrink reduction and training programs. Korey's extensive experience includes managing regional loss prevention functions for 200 stores at Dress Barn and loss prevention management at Kmart Corporation. Korey holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Pensacola Christian College.
