Laura Paskus is a seasoned journalist and producer with extensive experience in environmental reporting and media production. Currently serving as the Senior Producer for "Our Land: New Mexico’s Environmental Past, Present and Future" at KNME-TV, New Mexico PBS since 2017, Laura has developed an award-winning series that integrates field pieces, interviews, and educational content. Previous roles include Editor for Capital & Main, focusing on stories related to the oil and gas industry, and Environment Reporter for New Mexico Political Report. Additionally, Laura has held positions in academia as an adjunct faculty member at the Institute of American Indian Arts and has contributed to various media outlets, including KUNM-FM and High Country News. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing further education at The University of New Mexico.
