Kimberly van der Laan

Kimberly van der Laan is an experienced medical professional currently serving as AIOS anesthesiologie at Amsterdam UMC since April 2022, having previously held the position of ANIOS anesthesiologie. Additionally, Kimberly has been a motocross physician and a member of the medical commission for KNMV since October 2018. Previous roles include junior doctor in intensive care medicine at Radboudumc from November 2020 to February 2022, and junior doctor in the emergency room and intensive care unit at Slingeland Ziekenhuis from December 2018 to October 2020. Kimberly also contributed as project coordinator for Get Real 2day at Radboudumc, an innovative program aimed at enhancing education in biomedical and medicine fields, and completed a research internship at the Netherlands Forensic Institute focusing on heart weight predictors. Further experience includes terminal care at Zorgtalent B.V. and participation as a student consultant in an innovation project with MSD Netherlands. Kimberly holds a BSc and MSc in Medicine from Radboud University and completed VWO at Veenlanden College, Mijdrecht.
