Bhawna Tyagi

Bhawna Tyagi has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and automation. Bhawna is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at Knock® CRM since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Data Engineer at Amazon starting from September 2019.

Bhawna also worked at Amazon Web Services from August 2016 to September 2019 as a Big Data Devops Support Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for troubleshooting customer issues using various cutting-edge big data technologies such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, Amazon Data Pipeline, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Glue, and Amazon Machine Learning (SageMaker).

Before joining Amazon, Bhawna Tyagi worked at T-Mobile as a Hadoop Developer from November 2015 to August 2016. In this role, they were involved in the development and design of end-to-end jobs using technologies like Hive, Pig, Sqoop, MapReduce, Java, and Oozie to meet the business requirements.

Bhawna Tyagi also gained experience as a Test Automation Engineer at Hitachi Data Systems from August 2015 to November 2015. Bhawna was responsible for developing test processes to improve test efficiency for the Hitachi Unified Compute Platform, which is a converged infrastructure solution for enterprise data centers and cloud deployments.

Bhawna Tyagi completed their education in Computer Science. Bhawna obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Seattle University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Bhawna Tyagi obtained a certification as an HDP Certified Developer from Hortonworks Inc in February 2016.
