VP of Finance & Analytics at Knocking

Dominik Reinmund has over 23 years of experience in finance and analytics. Dominik began their career in 1997 at Siemens AG, PTD as a Training Supervisor and Management Trainee - Executive Assistant to the CFO. During their time at Siemens AG, they improved Excel and SAP based cost center and profit center reporting process, implemented an intranet based management reporting tool, and optimized SAP based budgeting and planning process. In 2003, they moved to Siemens VDO as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they redesigned the target costing process, structured quotes in response to requests for quotation (RFQ), and deployed integrated budget planning for five locations in the US and Mexico. In 2006, they transitioned to Continental Automotive as Manager of Finance & Accounting, where they had financial responsibility for a $40M automotive sensors manufacturing plant and executed financial and operational integration subsequent to the acquisition of a competitor company. In 2008, they became Controller at Continental Automotive Systems for a $100M automotive sensor segment with 10 locations worldwide. Here, they led financial integration of two business segments after the acquisition of Siemens VDO through Continental Automotive Systems and guided successful implementation of a financial turnaround strategy. In 2012, they joined Methode Electronics as Director of Performance Management and Division Controller. As Director of Performance Management, they reported to the CFO of a $1B+ public company and established a vision of the Controller role as an integrated Finance Business Partner. Dominik replaced Excel-based FP&A processes with world-class Budgeting, Forecasting, and Management Reporting processes utilizing multi-dimensional OneStream XF CPM platform. As Division Controller, they lead the Finance & Controlling function for the largest Methode Division and multiple international manufacturing plants, with rapid growth. Dominik streamlined financial close and reporting tools, introduced Cost Center and Product Line / Profit Center structures, improved product costing and quoting tools and processes, and initiated improvements to ERP system integration with other Financial tools and processes. Finally, in 2021, they joined Knocking as VP of Finance & Analytics.

Dominik Reinmund completed a B.S. in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University in 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Management from The Open University in 1999-2001. Dominik also completed an Industriekaufmann in Business Administration and Finance from Siemens Stammhauslehre in Berlin, Germany from 1995-1997. Additionally, they hold a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants.
