Zoltan Toth

Zoltan Toth, Ph.D., serves as the Functional Safety Manager at Knorr-Bremse R&D Center Budapest, where responsibilities include establishing and overseeing Functional Safety activities within the e-mobility innovation unit and mentoring colleagues for FuSa Certification. Previously, Zoltan held roles such as Global Change Management Process Coordinator at Knorr-Bremse and Technical Grant Project Leader at Current, powered by GE, managing large-scale R&D projects. Zoltan has also contributed as a Principal Engineer at GE Lighting and participated in international R&D projects related to lead-free soldering materials and high-intensity discharge lamps. Zoltan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Physics - Material Sciences from Eötvös Loránd University and a Master of Science in Physics from Kossuth University Debrecen, complemented by training in analytics and data science.
