Clemens Münzer

Clemens Münzer is a highly experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Fachreferent in Freight Rail Automation at Knorr-Bremse since August 2022. Prior to this, extensive expertise was gained at Stadler Bussnang AG, where roles included Group Leader in Brake Development for multiple units and Technical Manager for Brake Systems, focusing on systems and software engineering, tool development, and standardization projects. Clemens has also contributed as a voluntary scientific advisor at V-Research, a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich, and has held multiple academic positions, culminating in a PhD from ETH Zurich, specializing in automated computational design synthesis. Additional educational background includes a Master’s degree from the Technical University of Munich.
