Laura Hajek

Laura Hajek is currently engaged in the Trainee Management Evolution Program (MEP) at Knorr-Bremse, focusing on project management for the Business Unit Drivetrain & Steering, as well as roles in Industrial Engineering HVAC and Category Purchasing Electronics. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Product Officer at Eldertech and a Consultant in Industry 4.0/Smart Manufacturing at umlaut company. Laura began a career in project engineering at Apodius GmbH and held research assistant positions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology and the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, as well as an internship at BMW Group. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Master of Science in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from Ewha Womans University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
