Mingyu Son

Mingyu Son is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in electronic systems and applications within the automotive sector. Currently serving as the Electronic Application Team Manager at Knorr-Bremse since February 2012, Mingyu manages a team focused on electronic brake systems and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for commercial vehicles, acting as a technical liaison between European technical centers and Korean customers. Prior to this role, Mingyu held the position of Electronic System Team Manager at Delphi, where responsibilities included managing OEM technical interfaces and developing advanced diesel systems, vehicle functions, and calibration processes. Mingyu's career began at Hyundai Autonet as an Electronic Software and System Engineer, and further experience includes a role as a Development Engineer at Samsung Techwin, specializing in aircraft engine development. Mingyu holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University.
