Milou van der Hoek

Milou van der Hoek has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Most recently, Milou worked at KnowBe4 as the Senior Director of Operations - International, where they were responsible for overseeing the operations of international offices and ensuring revenue and growth targets were met. Prior to that, they worked at Delivery Hero as the Manager of Business Process Excellence and then as the Operations Manager. Milou also has experience working at Truphone as a Service Delivery Manager and Team Lead, at the University of Lisbon as a Researcher/PhD Candidate, and at the European Parliament as a Project Manager.

Milou van der Hoek has a Master's Degree in Humanities from Uppsala University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's in European Studies at Maastricht University from 2005 to 2009. Milou also pursued a Minor in Philosophy at Radboud University from 2012 to 2013, and an Associate's Degree in Photography at the Nederlandse Academie voor Beeldcreatie in 2013. In 2015, they began their First Year Ph.D. in Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon, which concluded in 2016. Additionally, Milou has obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Security Awareness and Culture Professional, and IT Information Library Foundations Certification. Milou has also completed courses in Agile Project Management and Excel Skills for Business.
