Shawn Lopresto

Shawn LoPresto has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shawn is currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Engineering at KnowBe4 since June 2022. Previously, they worked at Malwarebytes, holding multiple roles such as DevOps Architect, Director of Site Reliability Engineering, Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, and Senior DevOps Engineer from 2015 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked at TUI Specialist Holidays Group as a Cloud Platform Team - Senior Engineer from 2011 to 2015. Shawn also gained experience as a Network/Systems Architect at Merrill Lynch in 2010, a Network Administrator at Trade Only Design Library from 2008 to 2010, and an Enterprise Systems Consultant at Presto Communications from 2005 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Enterprise Product Support Engineer at Sunbelt Software from 2004 to 2008, and as the Owner of ES Game Servers from 2002 to 2004. Shawn began their professional journey as a Signal Systems Specialist in the US Army from 1996 to 1998.

From 1998 to 2001, Shawn LoPresto attended St. Petersburg College. During this time, no degree or field of study is specified. In addition to their college education, LoPresto obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in January 2018 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
