Adam Zhang

Focusing on data analytics, business intelligence, data science, and machine learning, Adam is a seasoned professional with strong expertise in utilizing a variety of complex business intelligence, data engineering, and data science tools in problem-solving processes. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has more than 15 years of project management experience in various IT projects in the Military Health System (MHS) within DoD and VA. Mr. Zhang has foundational and practical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDCL) models and has practiced agile development with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) and version control systems for many years. Mr. Zhang has led a team to design and develop a forecasting and monitoring application (MHS Performance Planning Tool) for MHS’ Prospective Payment System (PPS). In another effort, he worked as lead analyst on an evaluation of the integrated DoD/VA Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). He is proficient in the use of DoD and VA managed data repositories such as: M2, MDR, EAS IV, DMDC, and VA CDW, NPCD, MedSAS datasets, and VINCI. Mr. Zhang has a master’s degree in business administration, specialized in Information Management and Finance from the University of Georgia.
