Brendan Hughes

Brendan Hughes, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Starting in 1995, Brendan worked as an Investment Associate at QuantiLogic Asset Management. Brendan then joined VentureOne Corporation in 2000, where they served as a Manager in Research Analysis. In 2004, Brendan transitioned to Dow Jones, initially as a Director of Information Analysis, where they developed and managed a team of research analysts. Brendan later took on the role of Director of Analysis & Innovation, introducing a Business Process Improvement team and establishing a presence in multiple global locations. From 2016 to 2018, Brendan served as the Director of Private Markets at Dow Jones, leading a global analysis and research team focused on the Venture Capital industry. In 2019, they joined Bell Flight as a Data and Analytics Leader, responsible for coordinating and completing key analytics projects and implementing a Data Governance framework. Currently, Brendan holds the role of Director of Data Operations at Knowland, starting in 2022. Throughout their career, Brendan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, optimizing workflows, implementing data-driven decision-making, and achieving project objectives on time and within budget.

Brendan Hughes, PMP has a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from Penn State University, obtained in 2021. Brendan also holds an M.Econ degree in Economics from University College Dublin, completed from 1993 to 1995, and a BA degree in Economics from the same university, completed from 1989 to 1992. Brendan attended Blackrock College from 1983 to 1989. Additionally, Brendan has a Project Management Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. Brendan has obtained several certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2021, a Certificate in Business Analytics from Penn State University in 2021, and a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2010.
