Amber Luczak

Knowles Teaching Fellow at Knowles Teacher Initiative

Amber Luczak is a dedicated educator with a focus on science instruction, currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at Marshall Metropolitan High School since August 2020 and as a Knowles Teaching Fellow since April 2020, providing support to early-career math and science teachers. Prior roles include a Student Teacher at Stephen Tyng Mather High School where classes comprised diverse freshman students, and a Classroom Aide in Evanston/Skokie School District 65, where Amber designed modified lessons for 5th grade students. Additional experience encompasses a Teaching Fellow position with Breakthrough Collaborative in Hong Kong, emphasizing English language development and personal empowerment for underprivileged students, and a Research Assistant role at Northwestern University focusing on molecular mechanisms of Multiple Sclerosis. Amber holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and German from Northwestern University.
