Jonathan Johnson

Jonathan Johnson is an experienced public health professional and educator, currently serving as a Program Manager at the Knox County Health Department since June 2022. Previously, Jonathan was the Program Director for the Wellspring Program at Cherokee Health Systems, overseeing HIV, viral hepatitis, and STI testing and prevention operations. Jonathan also worked as a PrEP Navigator, focusing on improving access to HIV prevention medication. Alongside these roles, Jonathan held positions as Engagement and Communication Lead for the All of Us Research Program and as an Adjunct Instructor at Lincoln Memorial University, teaching courses in American literary history. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Austin Peay State University.
