Jouke Spoelstra

Jouke Spoelstra is an experienced project leader with a significant background in naval engineering and submarine technology. Since 2009, Jouke has led the Project Search team O13, focusing on locating the Dutch submarine HNLMS O13 lost in the North Sea. In addition to this role, Jouke serves on the Local Committee of the KNRM Lifeboat Rescue Station Den Helder, providing oversight for station operations. Previous experience includes owning Safesubmarine Advice and Support, offering expertise in submarine safety, and holding various senior positions within the Royal Netherlands Navy, including Weapon Systems Manager for Submarines and Head of Propulsion Systems. Jouke's education includes credentials from the Royal Naval College and Rijks HBS Leeuwarden.
