Ellen Zielinski

Ellen Zielinski currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Strategy Development at KO2 Consulting since January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Energy & Sustainability at the New York City Housing Authority from May 2019 to March 2022, and various roles at the City of New York's Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) from September 2013 to May 2019, including Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Energy Efficiency Programs and Director of Clean Energy & Innovation. Throughout this tenure, Ellen Zielinski contributed to municipal renewable energy targets and energy efficiency initiatives, supporting goals such as the PlaNYC 2030 sustainability plan and campaign for a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Additional experience with the New York City Department of Transportation involved managing policy documents and budget oversight within the Division of Planning and Sustainability. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Building Operator Certification from the City University of New York.
