Javiera Castro

Javiera Castro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, community outreach, and food advocacy. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing & Community Outreach at Koa Natural Foods since March 2015, Javiera also holds the position of Board Member at the Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank and Program Coordinator at Woman Empowering Women. Previously, Javiera founded and presided over Healthy Tastings until December 2019 and advocated for Eden Food for Change from August 2011 to October 2018. Educational background includes studies at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Humber College with a degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications, and Ryerson University, where Javiera earned a degree in Nutrition & Food.
