Casey Hertel has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2005 as an Instructor at The Little Gym. In 2009, they served as a Finance Intern at General Dynamics Information Technology. The following year, they became a Youth Development Intern at DC United. In 2012, they held three positions: Customer Service Representative, Birthday Coordinator, and Floor Supervisor at Frederick Indoor Sports Center, Operations Intern at the US Olympic Committee, and Partnerships Intern at the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition. In 2013, they were an Account Representative and Community Relations Coordinator at Ripken Baseball. From 2014 to 2021, they held two positions at Koa Sports League: Director of Operations and Director of Field Hockey Programming. In 2021 and 2022, they served as an Advisory Board Member- Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times at The George Washington University School of Business and Seton Hall University, respectively.
Casey Hertel attended Shenandoah University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Sports Management. Casey then attended Georgetown University from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a Master's degree in Sports Industry Management. Most recently, in 2021, they earned a Certificate in Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times from The George Washington University School of Business.
