Alex South

Alex South has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in 1998 in the US Navy, where they worked their way up to the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class. They served as an Operations Specialist on an Aegis Class Destroyer, handling navigation, charts, radar, and weapons systems. They later transitioned into an officer program and attended college to obtain a degree.

After leaving the military in 2004, Alex worked as a University Marketing Representative for Electronic Arts, organizing marketing events and gathering feedback from customers at the University of Arizona. They also managed a team of interns and reported data to Electronic Arts.

Alex then worked as an Assistant Manager and Telemarketer at the University of Arizona Foundation, raising funds through cold calling alumni and updating alumni information in the university database. They raised over $100,000 for different university departments.

In 2005, Alex joined LA Fitness as a Sales Manager, and in 2007, they became a Club General Manager at Fitness First.

In 2008, Alex worked as a Marketing Intern at Codemasters, creating competitive analysis reports and assisting Brand Managers at various events. They also worked as a Staffing Manager at Robert Half International, identifying business opportunities, conducting interviews, and placing job seekers.

Since 2010, Alex has been working at Koan Health as a Senior Account Executive. They manage client relationships and projects, advocate for client needs with internal teams, and utilize analytical software to establish strategic relationships and improve medical utilization metrics. They contribute to Koan's product roadmap and growth.

Alex South's education history begins in 1999, when they attended the University of Arizona and obtained a degree in Business with a field of study in Marketing. In the same year, they also attended the Operations Specialist 'A' School and obtained a certification in Operations Specialist.

In 2011, Alex attended Santa Monica College and earned a certification as an Implementation Project Manager in the Healthcare Information Technology Field. They also obtained an additional certification as an Implementation Manager in Healthcare Information Technology from Santa Monica College in December 2011.

Additionally, in May 2021, Alex obtained a certification in Business Strategy Specialization from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
