Steve Flaming has a solid work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Steve started their career as an Assistant English Teacher in the JET PROGRAMME in 2002. Steve then joined Washington State University as a Research Assistant in 2004. In 2005, they moved to Safeway where they worked as a Sr. Analyst in Card and Loyalty Marketing until 2008. Steve then joined Michaels Stores, Inc. as a Manager of Customer Analytics from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they secured $1M in funding for a personalization initiative at Kroger while working as a Director at dunnhumby from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Steve Flaming worked as a Senior Director of Analytics at Symphony EYC, where they led analytic product development and CRM targeting for large grocery and CPGs. Finally, Steve Flaming joined Kobie Marketing in 2015 as the Data Science Vice President.
