Sajit Rao

Sajit Rao is an accomplished academic and industry professional currently serving as a Lecturer in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Koç University since September 2023. With extensive experience in the field, Rao has held significant roles including Consultant and Advisor at Leela AI, Chief Science Officer at Autometrics, and Chief Scientist & Founder at Co57 Systems, Inc. Notable contributions include working on AI techniques for manufacturing productivity and developing biologically-inspired algorithms for anomaly detection. Additionally, Rao has served as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission in Robotics and AI and has conducted research as a Research Scientist at MIT CSAIL and LIRA Lab, contributing to cognitive vision advancements.
