Tugba Bagci Onder

Tugba Bagci Onder is a highly accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of health sciences. Currently serving as the Director of the Graduate School of Health Sciences and holding the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at Koç University since June 2012, Tugba has also engaged in significant research activities. Notably, a sabbatical research opportunity was completed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in collaboration with Professor Robert Weinberg in early 2019. Additionally, a role as a Visiting Researcher at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute was undertaken in 2014 under Professor Nika Danial's Laboratory. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2008 to May 2012. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Tufts University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University.
