Steve MacKenzie

Steve MacKenzie is a seasoned legal professional specializing in intellectual property law, currently serving as Managing Director at Koch Disruptive Technologies since March 2022. Previously, Steve held the role of Chief Counsel and Senior Counsel at Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC, where responsibilities included IP litigation, patent prosecution, licensing, and due diligence. Steve's experience also includes roles as Patent Counsel at INVISTA and various positions focused on IP litigation at Womble Carlyle and Connolly Bove Lodge and Hutz. Earlier in their career, Steve worked as an R&D Engineer at W.L. Gore & Associates, concentrating on fuel cell development. Steve holds a Juris Doctor in Intellectual Property Law from the University of New Hampshire - School of Law and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
