Executive Vice President at Koch Industries

Mark Luetters serves as executive vice president for Koch and sits on its board of directors. He oversees multiple Koch companies and capabilities, including Koch Supply & Trading, Georgia-Pacific, Koch Fertilizer, Koch Methanol, Koch Energy & Freight Trading, Koch Metals Trading and Koch Minerals.

Prior to this role, Mark was president of Koch Ag & Energy Solutions and Koch Minerals & Trading, and was responsible for leading strategic direction and growth.

Mark began his career with Koch companies in 1989 as a project engineer in Koch Pipeline, where he worked on the construction of the Texas Pipeline and several other projects. He then spent several years in Koch’s Business Development group, working on mergers and acquisition projects. In 1995, Mark moved to Koch Carbon, where he spent 10 years in positions with increasing responsibility in international physical commodity trading. Next, Mark spent 12 years at Georgia-Pacific after Koch acquired the company in late 2005. During this time, he served nearly 10 years as president of GP Building Products.

Mark sits on the Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors and received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.
