Richard Dinkel

SVP & CFO at Koch Industries

Richard Dinkel is senior vice president and chief financial officer for Koch Industries, Inc., a global company operating in diverse industries such as petroleum refining, biofuels, chemicals, consumer products, building products, packaging, electronic connectors, medical technology, polymers and fibers, fertilizers, process and pollution control equipment, architectural glass, automotive supply, and commodity trading. As the chief financial officer, Richard has responsibility for Koch’s finance functions including accounting, tax, treasury, risk, and IT in addition to Koch’s Global Services group.

Richard has more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting operations for large companies. Richard attended Kansas University and Wichita State University. He is a certified public accountant. Richard serves on the board of directors of Flint Hills Resources, Guardian Industries, Georgia Pacific, INVISTA, Molex, Koch Global Services, and JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) of Missouri and Kansas. He has also served as a board member of Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Salvation Army and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Richard is a past member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board advisory committee, FASAC.

Richard has been married to his wife, Kim, for 30 years and they have two children: Eric, 27, and Josh, 20.
