Ivan Salazar

Ivan Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Ivan is currently serving as the Senior Marketing Director at Kodansha USA, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to that, Ivan worked as the PR & Events Coordinator at comiXology from August 2012 to December 2019, where they handled convention appearances, press relations, and design of marketing assets. Ivan also worked as a Freelance Designer at The Comedy Store from December 2012 to August 2013, and as a Freelance PR & Marketing Manager at Studio 407 from December 2011 to August 2012. Before that, Ivan served as the Marketing Manager at BOOM! Studios from September 2009 to September 2011, where they managed marketing campaigns and product launches, and designed micro-sites for comic launches. Ivan started their professional career as an Art Director at J.R. Navarro & Associates from October 2007 to January 2009, where they ideated marketing concepts, designed ads and logos, and created motion graphics for client websites.

Ivan Salazar attended UCLA from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
