David Brough

Senior Software Engineer at Kodiak

David Brough has held various roles in the tech industry since 2007. David began their career at 4Life Research as an International Operations Manager in 2007 and then moved to Quality Manager in 2010. David also worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University in 2010. In 2014, they were an Intern at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where they worked to develop the Python package PyMKS. In 2015, they were a Materials and Processes Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, where they used machine learning on multiple materials datasets to create structure-property models using the Python package PyMKS. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology and then a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Numerica Corporation. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Kodiak Robotics.

David Brough completed their B.S. in Physics from Westminster College in 2008. David then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Physics from Brigham Young University in 2012. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2016.
