Felix Duvallet has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, where they implemented a multi-robot cooperative beam-transporting behavior for two robots using force sensing, null-space actions, and implicit coordination. In 2007, they worked as a Research Intern at CSIRO, where they developed and implemented a real-time particle filter for WiFi localization in mixed indoor/outdoor industrial environments. In 2008, they began their Doctoral Candidate studies at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google. In 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer (Special Projects Group) at Apple. Finally, in 2018, they worked as a Technical Lead & Manager at Kodiak Robotics.
Felix Duvallet obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 2003 and 2007. Felix then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University between 2008 and 2011. Finally, Felix Duvallet completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University between 2008 and 2015. Felix also attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) but did not obtain any certifications or degrees.
