Michael Wiesinger

Head of Commercialization at Kodiak

Michael Wiesinger is the head of commercialization at Kodiak. Prior to joining Kodiak, Wiesinger served as the interim head of operations and logistics at Ware2Go, a startup that was part of UPS's expansion team. At Ware2Go, Wiesinger was responsible for leading all supply chain related topics, including the development of operations strategy and team, warehouse network expansion, and management of 3PL warehouse relationships. Michael also led all operations related topics, including the establishment of operational processes, metrics, SLAs, and review processes with 3PL warehouse partners. In addition, Wiesinger established the customer/supplier support and service functions and team.

Previously, Wiesinger interned at Gett, where they derived and executed go-to-market strategy to launch new fixed lines across London. Michael achieved 10x growth in number of rides per day and established and executed a partnership with Citymapper that allowed Gett to launch additional lines and scale further. Wiesinger also managed understanding of critical product features, derived improvement ideas, and reported them into the global product roadmap to ultimately improve and advance the product.

Michael Wiesinger's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien. Michael then went on to complete a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management, General, at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management from Technische Universität Wien.

Their manager is Don Burnette, Co-founder & CEO. They work with Paz Eshel - Co-founder & COO, Jordan Coleman - General Counsel, and Andreas Wendel - VP, Engineering.
