Rob Brown

Rob Brown has over 20 years of experience in product management, product lead and technical program management. Rob began their career in 2001 as a Geographical Information Systems Consultant for Chris Britton Consultancy Ltd. Rob then moved to BT Global Services in 2002, where they held the role of Product Management and Spatial Pricing Modelling. In 2008, they took on the role of Product Manager at OneSource Information Services. In 2010, they joined Amazon Robotics, where they held the roles of Senior Technical Product Manager and Product Manager. In 2016, they moved to Amazon, where they were the Product Lead for Automation and Robotics. In 2017, they became the Vice President of Product at CyPhy Works, Inc. In 2018, they took on the role of Director of Product and Senior Product Manager at nuTonomy. In 2020, they joined Motional as the Senior Director of Product and Product Director. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Kodiak Robotics, a position they have held since 2022.

Rob Brown attended the University of Nottingham from 2000 to 2001, where they obtained a Masters (MSc) in Geographical Information Science (with Distinction). Rob'sfield of study included GIS/Digital Mapping, Remote Sensing, Localization, and Spatial Modelling. Prior to that, they attended Swansea University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a BSc in Geography and Topographic Science (Hons). Rob'sfield of study included Earth Science, Planetary Science, Geology, Climate Change, GIS, Cartography, and Remote Sensing.
