Shurjo Banerjee has a wealth of experience in the fields of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Language, Robotics, and Assistive Technology. Starting in 2013, Banerjee worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they developed the Tongue Tracking System (TTS). In 2015, Banerjee became a Researcher Phd Candidate at the University of Michigan, where they were a member of the COG Computer Vision Laboratory and gained experience with popular ML tools. In 2021, Banerjee was an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, where they were a member of the Alexa AI Team and formulated a novel problem space. Most recently, Banerjee is a Machine Learning Engineer, Perception at Kodiak Robotics, beginning in 2022.
Shurjo Banerjee obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015, after beginning their studies in 2011. Shurjo then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from the University of Michigan, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
