Norm Usenkanov

Norm Usenkanov has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2005. Norm began their career as the Founder and Director of TheBridgeSoft.com, a custom software solutions company for the government sector and foreign businesses. In 2010, they took on the role of Head of Software Development and Billing Department at Sapatcom Telecommunications, leading a team of 10 people and working closely with the CTO. From 2011 to 2016, Norm was a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Encyclopaedia Britannica, where they were responsible for software architecture design and implementation, database design, and optimization and debugging of JVM memory issues in production environments. In 2016, Norm became an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Uber. In 2021, they took on the role of Co-Founder at Kodif, Founder Fellow at On Deck, and Volunteer CX Coach at Zendesk for Startups. Norm is currently an Advisor at myPocketCFO.

Norm Usenkanov's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the American University in Bulgaria from 2001 to 2005, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the same university from 2001 to 2005, a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Maharishi International University from 2010 to 2012, a Stanford Continuing Studies Course in Accelerate Your Start Up Idea from 2019, and Strategy & Leadership Courses from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018 through Uber's partnership with the school.
