Joao Martins

Joao Martins has extensive work experience, beginning in 1997 when they were an IT Engineer at the Jornal de Notícias. During this time, they developed the first online classified ads service with online payments. In 1999, they Co-Founded and became CTO of Multivector, where they were responsible for developing complete and custom internet services for businesses. In 2000, they became CEO of Escola de Rafting Atlântico. From 2012-2017, they worked at VisualDNA, Bossa Studios, Rungway, and Yapily in various roles such as Tech Lead, Snr Software Engineer - Tech Lead, and CTO. Most recently, they have been working as the Chief Technology Officer at KodyPay since 2022.

Joao Martins obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade do Minho in 2010. Joao previously attended Universidade do Minho from 1993 to 1998, studying Informatics and Systems Engineering. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Rafting Instructor/Trip Leader from the International Rafting Federation (IRF) in 2005, Swift Water Rescue Technician from Rescue 3 International in 2005, and First Aid from the International Red Cross in 2004.
