Dr. Matthias Bandorf

Dr. Matthias Bandorf has a diverse work history spanning multiple companies and industries. Dr. Matthias most recently worked for Koenig & Bauer as the Head of Governance Processes & Systems starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager for Masswerk 5 e.K. from July 2020 to August 2022. Dr. Bandorf also held various leadership roles at Schaeffler, including Head of Operations SaaS & Digital Services, Head of Business Engineering Digital Solutions, Head of Product Sales Mechatronics, Head of New Business Fields & Product Management Mechatronics, Head of New Business Development, and Manager Strategy Development. Dr. Matthias was also involved in Group Manufacturing Management at HARTMANN GROUP and held the position of Head of Corporate Planning & Controlling at KAUP GmbH & Co. KG. Earlier in their career, Dr. Bandorf worked in claim management at Gerling and as a consultant at Gerling Consulting GmbH.

Dr. Matthias Bandorf completed their education in a variety of fields. Dr. Matthias began by earning a Dipl.Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) between 1990 and 1995. Following that, they attended Cologne University of Applied Science from 1995 to 1997 and obtained a Dipl.Wirt.-Ing., focusing on Business and Engineering. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued a Master of Management - SGMI degree in Economics from the Management Institut St. Gallen. Finally, from 2010 to 2014, they attended the University of South Wales, from which they obtained their highest qualification, a Dr./DBA in Business Administration.
