Jaseem Mahmmdla

Jaseem Mahmmdla is the Co-Founder and CTO at Kognitic. Jaseem has over 17 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on product management and software engineering. Jaseem has a proven track record of successful product development and delivery, with experience in both small startups and large enterprises.

Jaseem started their career as a software engineer at the New York Mercantile Exchange, where they developed the first wireless trading application on the NYMEX trading floor. Jaseem then went on to work as an application engineering consultant at FedEx Services, where they contributed to the development of the NYMEX R&D team. In 2002, Jaseem joined GE Capital as a software engineer consultant, and was responsible for delivering a modern automated data integration and analysis of Clinical Trials that completely eliminated the manual process and significantly reducing the operating cost while improving efficiency and providing new insights.

After a brief stint at the NJ Department of Health and OIT as a team lead and architect, Jaseem joined Truven Health Analytics in 2008 as Senior Manager of Technical Services. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of engineers that delivered software solutions to customers in the healthcare industry. Jaseem left Truven in 2013 to join Sparta Systems as Sr. Product and Solutions Manager of Product Management. Jaseem remained in this role until 2018, when they co-founded Kognitic.
