Scott Flinn

Scott Flinn has extensive work experience in the software development field. Scott currently holds the position of Senior Software Developer at Kognitiv Spark, a role they have held since September 2018. Prior to this, they worked at IBM as a Senior Software Developer from November 2011 to August 2018. Before joining IBM, Scott worked at Q1 Labs as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2008 to December 2011. Scott also served as a Senior Developer at TrustMe Security Inc from November 2005 to February 2008. Scott's earlier experience includes working as a Research Officer at the National Research Council of Canada from July 2002 to November 2005 and as a Principal Engineer at RSA Security from an unspecified date in 1999 to 2002.

Scott Flinn began their education in 1983 at Dalhousie University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science. Scott completed this program in 1988. Following this, they attended the University of Waterloo from 1988 to 1990, obtaining a Master of Mathematics degree in Computer Science. Flinn then enrolled at The University of British Columbia in 1990 to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science, but did not complete the degree.
