John Stockwell

John Stockwell has extensive experience in the field of human resources, with a focus on talent management, recruitment, and employee engagement. John is currently serving as the Chief People and Culture Officer at Kognitiv Corporation, a position they obtained in 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Chief People Officer, Canada at dentsu from 2016 to 2021 and as the Vice President of Human Resources, Americas at OpenText from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they held positions at Morneau Shepell Inc. as the Director of Talent Management from 2009 to 2012, at Vale Inco Limited as the Global Sourcing and Workforce Planning Leader from 2008 to 2009, and at the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers as the Past President from 2005 to 2009. John also held various roles at Grant Thornton LLP, RBC Financial Group, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and Ernst & Young LLP earlier in their career.

John Stockwell attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained an HBA degree in Political Science.
