Community Subject Lead - IBDP And Igcse Biology at Kognity

Camila Hartmann has an extensive work experience that spans over two decades. From 2002 to 2009, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher and a PhD Student at Ludwig Cancer Research. In 2009, they joined St. Paul's School, Sao Paulo as an Extended Essay Coordinator, a Head of Biology, and a Biology and Science Teacher. In 2015, they became an Examiner at The International Baccalaureate. In 2016, they were a Textbook Author at Kognity, producing and developing educational material for the IGCSE program. In 2021, they returned to Kognity as a Community Subject Lead for IBDP and IGCSE Biology.

Camila Hartmann's education history includes a PGCEi from the University of Nottingham in 2021, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2005 and 2009, a Teaching Certificate (Licenciatura) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie between 2002 and 2004, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie between 2001 and 2004.
