Kalaivani S. is a seasoned research engineer specializing in computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Koh Young Technology, Inc. since July 2020. At Koh Young, Kalaivani has successfully designed an AI-based flux inspection system and developed over 30 image processing algorithms for deployment in Automated Optical Inspection systems, achieving significant speed improvements through optimization. Previously, Kalaivani conducted research on sleep stage classification using machine learning techniques at the Netherlands eScience Center, and gained early experience in facial attribute estimation and image segmentation during internships at 3M Cogent and Nokia Research Center. With a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, along with a master's degree from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree from Anna University Chennai, Kalaivani possesses a robust educational foundation to support extensive expertise in advanced imaging technologies.
