Kim Kutsch is a highly experienced dental professional with extensive expertise in cariology and general dentistry. As the Kois Scientific Advisor for Cariology at the Kois Center since August 2014, Kim reviews and recommends significant dental caries research for annual symposium presentations. Kim has served as the CEO of CariFree since January 2004, advocating against the dental caries epidemic. In private practice at Kutsch & Renyer Family & Cosmetic Dentistry since 1979, Kim provides a wide range of dental services including microdentistry and laser dentistry, while also engaging in clinical research and education. Kim's contributions to the field are further evidenced by past participation as a contributor at Remin Media and professional education, including a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Westminster University.

The Kois Center is a didactic and clinical program with the latest advances in esthetic, implant and restorative dentistry. Located on the shore of Lake Union in the heart of Seattle, Washington, the expansive 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the Lake, Space Needle, and Queen Anne Hill – all icons of the Emerald City. The interior design of the center is both welcoming and professional. Each participant´s desk is climate controlled and allows plenty of personal space for didactic and simulated clinical aspects of the courses. The Kois Center uses a variety of high technological teaching modalities ranging from computer animation to live video demonstrations. Video cameras feed images from a variety of inputs simultaneously. The Center´s hi-tech dental office and laboratory interface with the conference room to allow for questions and answers during the over-the-shoulder demonstrations. Various camera angles capture close-up details and a broad overview of procedures.
