Dr. Chandrashekhar Deshmukh

Dr. Chandrashekhar Deshmukh began their work experience in 1998 as the Head of Human Resources (Sales & Marketing) at Cipla Ltd. in India. During their time there, they were responsible for various HR activities including talent management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and training & development. Dr. Chandrashekhar also oversaw the setup of the HR department for a Dubai-based manufacturing plant and successfully signed settlements with different trade unions. In 2009, they joined Kokuyo Camlin Ltd. as the Head of HR and later became the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in 2018.

Dr. Chandrashekhar Deshmukh has a solid educational background with a focus on human rights, training and development, labor studies, and statistics. Dr. Chandrashekhar obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights from the Indian Institute of Human Rights between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma in Training & Development from the Indian Society for Training & Development from 2001 to 2003. In 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Labour Studies from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies. Dr. Deshmukh's educational journey started in 1992 at K J Somaiya College of Commerce & Science, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained certifications such as "Unleashing People Potential through Assessment Development Centre" from People Metrics in February 2012 and "Certified Rewards Professional" from the Aon Hewitt Learning Centre, although specific dates are not available for the latter.
